The Principles

Every Sequin Soirée event is guided by three principles that shape how we gather, contribute, and grow together.

1. Your community is your responsibility.

No one else is responsible for building your career ecosystem. The right introductions, opportunities, and collaborations happen when everyone contributes without waiting to be invited. Community is something you actively create.

2. Curate relationships, not contact lists.

The value of your network is measured by how many meaningful relationships you've built, rather than how many people you just happen to meet. Sequin Soirée intentionally brings together professionals with complementary experiences, industries, and ambitions because the right room is more valuable than the largest room.

3. Leave every room better than you found it.

Every attendee has something to contribute. Ask thoughtful questions. Make introductions. Share knowledge. Celebrate someone else's win. Offer help when you can. The best networking events are successful becuase the guests take ownership of their experience.


Hi, I'm Sable.

I built Sequin Soirée because I grew exhausted of occupying performative networking spaces and getting left on read when I followed up with people. Professional community should be intentional. I wanted to create experiences where every conversation had the potential to lead somewhere meaningful.

My background in marketing, design, and experiential strategy shapes every event we create, with one goal in mind: bringing the right people into the right room so you can get what you need, provide value to others, and move on with your day.
