Why Sequin Soirée Exists
Ever get tired of scrolling through event listings trying to find something you actually want to attend? Or discover an amazing event through someone’s recap after it’s already over? Same.
I’m Sable, a creative marketing professional who loves fashion, beauty, design, and the kind of experiences that immerse people into new rooms and experiences. I’ve always belived that some of the best opportunities to meet people, discover new ideas, and expand your professional network happen outside of traditional networking events.
Sometimes it’s a conversation with the person next to you at a fashion show, mustering up the courage to approach the keynote speaker at a panel event, discovering a new product at a random brand activation, or making friends with the people in the longest line ever for a pop-up. The common thread? You showed up.
But finding those experiences can be difficult and time-consuming. So I decided to build the platform I wanted for myself: a central resource to discover what’s happening, plan your event calendar, and find your next reason to put yourself out there.

I created Sequin Soirée because I was tired of missing out on the rooms where meaningful relationships are built, new opportunities are discovered, and careers move forward. I wanted to be more intentional about getting myself into those rooms, expanding my professional network beyond my usual circles, and creating opportunities to elevate my career.
There were always events happening somewhere: fashion shows, panels, pop-ups, brand experiences, creative gatherings, and more. But finding them often meant piecing together information from Instagram, event ticketing platforms, newsletters, and word of mouth. And by the time I found out about some of them, they were already over.
With a background in marketing, graphic design, and experiential strategy, I built a resource that makes event discovery easier for you to decide where to show up next. Now hopefully, I’ll see you there!
