Welcome to Sequin Soirée (“Sequin Soirée,” “we,” “our,” or “us”). These Terms of Use (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of the Sequin Soirée website, including www.sequinsoiree.com, event listings, editorial content, newsletters, and other digital resources we may offer from time to time (collectively, the “Platform”).
By accessing or using the Platform, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree with these Terms, please discontinue use of the Platform.
1. About Sequin Soirée
Sequin Soirée is a curated digital resource where fashion, beauty, lifestyle, and creative industry professionals and creatives can discover relevant events, experiences, networking opportunities, workshops, activations, and other industry-related gatherings.
Our goal is to make it easier to discover the right rooms, conversations, and opportunities.
Sequin Soirée does not generally organize, produce, host, or operate the events listed on the Platform. Unless otherwise expressly stated, events featured on Sequin Soirée are organized and operated by independent third-party event hosts, brands, organizations, venues, or other entities (“Event Hosts”).
2. Use of the Platform
You may use the Platform for lawful, personal, professional, and informational purposes.
You agree not to:
Use the Platform for any unlawful or unauthorized purpose.
Attempt to gain unauthorized access to the Platform or interfere with its operation, security, or functionality.
Scrape, copy, reproduce, republish, distribute, or commercially exploit substantial portions of the Platform or its content without our written permission.
Misrepresent your affiliation with Sequin Soirée.
Use automated systems or other methods to collect information from the Platform in a manner that interferes with its operation or violates applicable law.
Upload, submit, or transmit content that is unlawful, defamatory, fraudulent, infringing, or otherwise harmful.
Use information obtained through the Platform to harass, threaten, or harm another person or organization.
3. Event Listings and Third-Party Events
Sequin Soirée curates and publishes event information for informational and discovery purposes.
Sequin Soirée may independently identify and publish event listings using publicly available information. For these curated listings, Sequin Soirée may create its own summaries, descriptions, categorizations, and editorial presentations. Sequin Soirée creates these editorial descriptions for informational and discovery purposes and may not reflect the Event Host’s own wording, descriptions, or opinions.
Sequin Soirée may also publish event listings submitted by Event Hosts or other authorized parties. Submission of an event does not guarantee publication, and Sequin Soirée reserves the right to review, edit, decline, or remove submissions at its discretion.
Event listings may include information such as event names, dates, times, locations, descriptions, ticket prices, registration information, organizer information, and links to external websites.
While we make reasonable efforts to provide useful and accurate information, we do not guarantee that event information is complete, current, accurate, or error-free. Event details may change after a listing is published, including dates, times, locations, ticket prices, eligibility requirements, availability, speakers, programming, or cancellation status.
You should confirm important details directly with the Event Host before making plans or purchasing a ticket.
4. Event Registration, Tickets, and Event Participation
Unless expressly stated otherwise, Sequin Soirée does not sell tickets, process event registrations, or collect payment for events listed on the Platform.
When you select a registration, ticketing, or event link on Sequin Soirée, you may be directed to a website or service operated by the Event Host or another third party.
Any purchase, registration, payment, refund, cancellation, or other transaction related to an event is between you and the applicable Event Host or third-party service provider.
Sequin Soirée is not responsible for ticket availability, ticket pricing, registration issues, refunds, event cancellations, postponements, venue changes, or other matters related to your transaction with an Event Host or third party.
Your attendance at or participation in an event is at your own discretion and responsibility.
5. Event Submissions
Sequin Soirée may accept event submissions from Event Hosts, brands, organizations, agencies, and other authorized parties.
By submitting an event or other information to Sequin Soirée, you represent that you have the right to provide the submitted information and authorize Sequin Soirée to use it for purposes related to publishing and promoting the listing on the Platform.
You are responsible for ensuring that information you submit is accurate and does not contain unlawful, misleading, defamatory, or infringing material.
Submitting an event does not guarantee publication. Sequin Soirée may edit, categorize, summarize, format, or otherwise present submitted information to fit the Platform’s editorial standards and format.
6. Editorial Curation
Sequin Soirée may independently select events to feature as curated listings or “Staff Picks.”
A curated listing may be identified on the Platform as “Curated by Sequin Soirée” or with similar editorial language.
The inclusion of an event as a curated listing reflects Sequin Soirée’s editorial judgment that the event may be relevant or of interest to our audience. It does not necessarily constitute an endorsement, sponsorship, partnership, or affiliation with the Event Host.
Sequin Soirée may create original summaries, descriptions, categorizations, and other editorial content for curated listings.
We may add, modify, or remove curated listings at our discretion.
7. Third-Party Websites and Services
The Platform may contain links to websites, registration pages, ticketing platforms, social media accounts, and other services operated by third parties.
These third-party websites and services are not controlled by Sequin Soirée. Your use of those websites and services is subject to their own terms, privacy policies, and other applicable policies.
Sequin Soirée is not responsible for the content, availability, security, policies, practices, or performance of third-party websites or services.
When you leave the Sequin Soirée website to register for an event, purchase a ticket, or interact with an Event Host, you are dealing directly with that third party.
8. Intellectual Property
The Sequin Soirée name, logo, branding, website design, original editorial content, graphics, photographs, videos, written materials, templates, and other original materials created by or for Sequin Soirée are owned by or licensed to Sequin Soirée and are protected by applicable intellectual property laws.
You may access and use publicly available Sequin Soirée content for personal and professional informational purposes, provided that you do not remove attribution or copyright notices.
You may share links to Sequin Soirée pages and publicly available listings through social media, email, or other channels, provided that your sharing does not misrepresent your relationship with Sequin Soirée.
You may not reproduce, republish, modify, distribute, sell, license, or commercially exploit Sequin Soirée’s original content without our prior written permission.
Event names, logos, photographs, trademarks, graphics, descriptions, and other materials belonging to Event Hosts or other third parties remain the property of their respective owners.
9. No Guarantee of Availability or Results
Sequin Soirée is intended as a discovery and information resource.
We do not guarantee that:
Any particular event will remain available.
An event will occur as originally advertised.
An event will meet your expectations.
You will gain admission to an event.
You will make professional, personal, or business connections through an event.
Any event, organization, Event Host, or opportunity featured on the Platform will produce a particular outcome.
Your decision to attend an event or engage with an Event Host is your responsibility.
10. Disclaimer of Warranties
The Platform and its content are provided on an “as is” and “as available” basis.
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Sequin Soirée disclaims all warranties, express or implied, regarding the Platform, including warranties of accuracy, reliability, availability, merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement.
We do not guarantee that the Platform will always be available, uninterrupted, secure, or free of errors, viruses, or other harmful components.
11. Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, Sequin Soirée and its owner, affiliates, contractors, and representatives will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, consequential, special, exemplary, or punitive damages arising out of or related to your use of, or inability to use, the Platform or your participation in an event discovered through the Platform.
This includes, without limitation, claims related to event cancellations, ticket purchases, travel expenses, lost opportunities, interactions with Event Hosts or other attendees, or reliance on information published through the Platform.
Nothing in these Terms is intended to exclude or limit liability that cannot legally be excluded or limited under applicable law.
12. Indemnification
To the fullest extent permitted by law, you agree to indemnify and hold harmless Sequin Soirée, its owner, affiliates, contractors, and representatives from claims, liabilities, damages, losses, and expenses, including reasonable legal fees, arising out of or related to:
Your violation of these Terms.
Your misuse of the Platform.
Your violation of another person’s rights.
Information or materials you submit to Sequin Soirée.
Your participation in an event or interaction with an Event Host or other third party.
13. Privacy
Your use of the Platform is also governed by our Privacy Policy, which explains how we collect, use, disclose, and protect information.

14. Age Requirement
The Platform is intended for users who are at least 18 years old.
By using the Platform, you represent that you are at least 18 years old or otherwise have the legal capacity to enter into these Terms.
Individual events may have different age requirements or eligibility rules. You are responsible for reviewing the requirements established by the applicable Event Host.
15. Suspension or Termination
We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your access to the Platform, without notice, if we believe you have violated these Terms or otherwise misused the Platform.
We may also modify, suspend, or discontinue any portion of the Platform at any time without liability.
16. Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time to reflect changes to the Platform, our practices, or applicable legal requirements.
When we make changes, we will update the Effective Date at the top of this page. Your continued use of the Platform after updated Terms are posted constitutes your acceptance of the revised Terms.
17. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Washington, without regard to its conflict of law provisions.
Any dispute arising out of or relating to these Terms or your use of the Platform will be subject to the applicable laws and courts of the State of Washington, unless otherwise required by law.
18. Severability
If any provision of these Terms is determined to be invalid or unenforceable, the remaining provisions will remain in full force and effect.
19. Entire Agreement
These Terms, together with our Privacy Policy and any other policies expressly incorporated by reference, constitute the agreement between you and Sequin Soirée regarding your use of the Platform, except where a separate written agreement applies.
